Hello! I'm very sorry for the late response - I do not receive notifications of comments and I do not check itch.io often.
No worries! The license does not specify about donations. Therefore I will make a decision as the creator of these assets. As long as the primary goal is NOT to sell the game (i.e. for commercial purposes), it's ok to receive donations from the game!
